Presidential panel emphasizes need to protect against HPV

Among 13- to 17-year-olds, only one-third of girls and 7% of boys had received all recommended doses of the human papillomavirus vaccine in 2012, the President's Cancer Panel said Monday. "If we could get physicians to give a strong message about HPV vaccination to every child, we could make a real difference," panel chairperson Barbara Rimer said.
