Study: Men are more likely to receive paid leave

When taking extended leave, men are more likely than women to be paid their full salary, according to a new survey. Only 27% of the women in the survey received their full paycheck during leave, while 39% of men were paid in full. Democratic lawmakers have drafted legislation known as the FAMILY Act that would guarantee paid time off for caregiving purposes, but it is unlikely to make headway in the House of Representatives.
