Kentucky makes broadband a priority

Public housing funded more than 50% by the Kentucky Housing Corporation must be equipped with broadband Internet access, the KHC has ruled. The plan further stipulates that low-income families be assisted in buying computer hardware and using the Internet to search for jobs and other resources.
