Trans fats found in less obvious foods

Research in the March issue of Consumer Reports magazine finds that, while deep-fried foods are commonly known to contain large amounts of trans fatty acids, there also are appreciable amounts of the fat in some cereals and frozen breakfast foods. The FDA is considering taking action to require food manufacturers to label the trans fatty acid content of foods.
