Radio proving a tough business for Google to crack

A year after acquiring radio software ad maker dMarc Broadcasting, Google still hasn't made many inroads into the radio market, industry insiders say. Obstacles include clashing styles between radio and new media; radio's reliance on sales representatives; and a lack of available inventory. But Google, while confirming the recent exit of dMarc founders, brothers Chad and Ryan Steelberg, said its fledgling radio business remains on track.
