Cleveland port's new dike could cost up to $300M

A proposal in Cleveland would move the city's port to a new location north of East 55th Street. The cost to dike 157 acres of the lake there could be as much as $300 million, according to the Army Corps of Engineers -- and this does not include warehouses, docks and transportation links. The port would be used to dump muck cleared from the Cuyahoga River shipping channel.
