Virginia's political circles were abuzz Tuesday with rumors a Democratic state Senator was planning to switch parties, possibly delivering control of that state's upper chamber to Republicans. Unfortunately for the Virginia GOP, the party's chairman crowed about the switch via Twitter before it was finalized. Democrats heard the news, adjourned the Senate and managed to convince the rogue member to change his mind.
