Survey shows marketers plan to cut ad budgets, agency fees

Some 77% of marketers intend to cut their media spending, 72% want to decrease their ad-production costs and 68% say they will "challenge" their shops to trim expenses and uncover other items to cut, according to a new poll by the Association of National Advertisers. "There's no good news in this report at all," said ANA President-CEO Bob Liodice. "This is not good for advertisers, this is not good for agencies, and it's certainly not good for media."
