Major banks rush private-banking chiefs to Asia

HSBC, JPMorgan Chase and other major financial institutions are relocating their leaders of private banking to Asia to tap the fast-growing region. Douglas Wurth, head of the international private-banking division at JPMorgan, recently moved to Hong Kong. "Asia is at the forefront of our international strategy and where we want to focus," Wurth said. "The amount of wealth being created in China, India and Southeast Asia is incredible."
