Study links migraine headaches to cardiovascular risk

A study of more than 11,000 adults found those who got migraine headaches were more likely to have had a heart attack, stroke or symptoms of peripheral artery disease. Migraine sufferers may have a slightly higher risk of cardiovascular problems than people who don't get migraines, but their overall risk is still small, one expert said.
