Nut butters have healthy fats, fiber and nutrients, making them a good snack choice that keeps people full until mealtime, registered dietitian EA Stewart writes. While peanut and almond butters are common, walnuts, pecans, cashews and macadamia nuts also can be used to make homemade nut butters that are less expensive than prepared products, Stewart writes.
