Anti-aging video boosts sunscreen use better than health message

A video that encouraged sunscreen use to prevent premature aging evoked a better response in high-school students than a video that emphasized reducing the risk of skin cancer. University of Colorado at Denver dermatologist April W. Armstrong and a colleague found that "appearance-based messaging may be superior to traditional health-based messages in promoting sun-protection behaviors."
