CMS revises policy on vaccines for hospice patients

As of April 7, the CMS will adjust the language related to Medicare regulations to reflect that any provider can give vaccines to hospice patients. The agency also reminded hospices that claims for inpatient stays for caregiver respite that are longer than five days will be returned, but more than one period of respite care can be included in a billing period.
