Why job seekers must show, not just tell, an employer how they add value

It's not what a candidate did in the past, but how they can help now that will impress a potential employer, writes Joel Capperella, vice president of marketing for recruiting firm Yoh. Job seekers, he writes, must tailor their experience to each job they apply for to highlight the value they can bring. "By doing so, they show firsthand the talents and abilities they could bring to the job rather than simply telling employers about them through a resume," Capperella notes.
