GE unveils digital medical facility

GE Medical Systems said its new digitalized hospital not only operates more efficiently but also allows for improved patient care and fewer medical errors. The $60 million, 88 bed prototype Indiana Heart Hospital is equipped to handle the needs of baby boomers, "the most demanding health-care consumers the world has ever seen," a health-care expert said.
