CEO: Wal-Mart remains committed to Maryland

Wal-Mart Stores has no plans to close its stores in Maryland despite a new state law that will require the retailer to earmark a portion of its payroll for employee health insurance, CEO H. Lee Scott Jr. says. Scott acknowledges state lawmakers are struggling to find health care solutions, but he asserts the new law may force companies to cut jobs.
