Epicureans travel to Bangkok for $25K "meal of a lifetime"

World-renowned Michelin chefs gathered in Bangkok Saturday night to concoct a 10-course culinary extravaganza for 40 Epicurean Masters of the World. The dinner, which cost $25,000 before tax and gratuity, included Perigord truffles, tartare of Kobe beef with Imperial Beluga caviar and Belon oysters, mousseline of pattes rouges crayfish with morel mushroom infusion, creme brulee of foie gras and vintage wines including a 1961 Chateau Palmer and a 1985 Romanee Conti.
