Brazil clears two types of biotech corn

Two types of biotech corn -- one manufactured by Monsanto Co. and the other produced by Bayer AG -- were cleared for planting and sale in Brazil by the country's National Biosecurity Council. Brazil had previously approved cotton and soybean biotech crops from Monsanto.
