ARC reports 25% drop in tickets booked by travel agents

ARC, the airline-owned booking company for travel agents, said U.S. travel agency ticket sales plunged nearly one-quarter in January, while sales transactions slid almost 19%. The January drop-off signals a much steeper decline than December, when sales were down just 7%.
