Corporate-bond issuers in emerging markets feel pinch

Corporate-bond issuers in emerging nations are suffering higher default rates and slower recoveries than companies in developed economies, according to Moody's Investors Service. The rating agency said it found that large-scale corporate defaults generally coincided with periods of government financial problems that resulted in defaults on sovereign debt.
