Should students be rescued from their own failures?

With two of five groups poised to fail their advanced robotics after-school class, nationally certified technology specialist Laura Reasoner Jones feels guilty, but says the students have failed the basic class criteria. With a parent presentation looming, Reasoner Jones pondered whether she should step in to rescue the failing students, but ultimately called on class mentors and other teams to help out.
