Computer program offers instant feedback on student writing

Sixth-graders in Brooklyn, Conn., are using a computer program called My Access that gives them instant feedback about their writing. The program gives students tips on grammar, spelling, composition and organization. Teachers say they have noticed an improvement in student writing since they began using the program in November.
