Jobs bill revised to gain bipartisan support

Senate Democrats say they will cut certain controversial provisions from the jobs bill to make it more appealing to critics. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., says there is bipartisan support for tax credits for companies hiring new workers and allowing employers to write off capital-improvement costs.
