Ky. House passes bill for early recognition of child abuse

The Kentucky House approved a bill to require training for physicians and child care providers on recognizing signs of child abuse. The state Senate next is expected to pass the bill, which also would mandate training for police officers, nurses, social workers and others who deal with children.
