Japan needs more civil engineers to help with reconstruction

Japan faces a shortage of civil engineers and support staff nearly a year after being hit by a devastating earthquake and tsunami, according to a Japanese survey. "We've got a shortage of staff in every area of infrastructure maintenance, including collective relocation, land readjustment and port reconstruction projects," an official said.
