Lawmakers introduce bill to help veterans after sexual assaults

Lawmakers in the Senate and House have introduced legislation intended to help victims of sexual assault in the military access disability benefits. The Ruth Moore Act of 2013 would make it easier for veterans to prove mental health issues resulting from sexual assault are service-related and qualify for VA benefits.
