Missoula wellness plan emphasizes children, physical activity

The Let's Move Missoula board said its wellness initiative for the Montana city will focus on putting healthier snacks and drinks in school vending machines and cafeterias, expanding the area bike path and trail, and encouraging day care and preschool programs to emphasize healthy eating and physical activity. The board will take public comments on the plan and would like to see policy changes and programs enacted by 2014.
