Sequestration is "wolf" at door, deputy defense chief says

Deputy Defense Secretary Ashton Carter testified before a Senate committee Tuesday about the effect of sequestration. He said the Pentagon would be forced to place civilian employees on unpaid leave, cut back on training and cancel maintenance for ships and aircraft. "These devastating events are no longer distant problems. The wolf is at the door," Carter said.
