More people should respect us, social media managers say

Three social media marketing managers contacted by Digiday said they don't get enough respect from colleagues, although they acknowledged that it's hard to create rigorous, quantifiable social media campaigns. "You can do your best and you can do things that are tried and true, but at the end of the day, it's kind of like gambling," one unidentified manager said.
