NSA cellphone data used to target drone strikes, source says

The United States military is reportedly using cellphone location data gathered by the National Security Agency to aim lethal drone strikes. Journalist Glenn Greenwald published a report from a former drone operator saying the military uses the location data from terrorists' SIM cards to target strikes, but the report also noted top Taliban leaders routinely lend out their phones or switch SIM cards, and innocent civilians might have been targeted as a result.
