Veil of secrecy draws younger users to new social apps

Anonymous social applications such as Secret and Whisper as well as those such as Snapchat that allow communication more like real conversations, leaving no permanent record, are drawing in a younger crowd of users. Whisper, which has 3.5 billion page views monthly, says 90% of its users are between the ages of 18 and 24.
