Wyo. educators visit Ariz. schools to learn from colleagues

A group of educators from Laramie County, Wyo., traveled to a district in Tucson, Ariz., to observe blended learning and one-to-one technology initiatives from fellow educators. The Wyoming district plans to pilot a blended middle-school math program for summer school and has sought ideas to make it work. "It's always good to know that somebody's tried it and worked out some of the kinks and (to) see what they've done," said Kristin Cavallier, math curriculum coordinator in Laramie County School District 1.
