NCL pulls two of its three Hawaii-based ships

Colin Veitch, president and CEO of NCL Corp., said increased competition has driven down the price level in the Hawaii market and has thus forced the company to pull two of the three ships it had based on the islands. Last week, NCL pulled Pride of Hawaii, and renamed it Norwegian Jade for service in Europe, and this week Pride of Aloha has been pulled and will be deployed to Asia in May.
