Scientists to develop blood test for pre-eclampsia detection

British scientists have discovered that blood plasma from women with pre-eclampsia has higher concentrations of chemicals such as amino acids compared with the blood of women who don't have the condition. The researchers hope to develop a diagnostic test within the next five years.
