Calif. company sells propane-powered garden tools

Southern California's LEHR Inc. received a patent for propane-powered garden trimmers and plans to sell the tools later this month for a price to be set between $199 and $230. "Consumers want the performance and the benefits of gas without impacting the environment," said Bernardo Herzer, company founder and chief executive officer. "We give them the performance and better reliability."
