Ericsson preps new home-connectivity gateway

Ericsson next week will unveil its Connected Home Gateway, a software system that allows customers to use their cell phones to communicate directly with other devices, such as TVs, PCs and multimedia players. The gateway also provides a single entry point for IPTV and other telephony services into the home.
