Transportation projects will get $46 billion under the current economic-stimulus package, according to The Associated Press. More than half of that will target highway and bridge repair and construction; almost $18 billion will go to mass transit and railway work. Clean-water projects will be allotted $6 billion, and expanding broadband service will get a bit more than $7 billion. The AP also looks at other spending categories and outlines included tax credits.
