Lawmakers seek report on Marine One cost overruns

Connecticut lawmakers are asking the Navy to report on cost overruns of 50% or more in Lockheed Martin Corp.'s presidential helicopter program. The state's congressional delegation wants the Navy to reopen bidding on the $6.1 billion contract, or at least require split procurement with Connecticut-based Sikorsky Aircraft, maker of the current generation of presidential helicopters.
