Globalization lessons lead educators to incorporate 1-to-1 computing

Students in an Ohio high school are using technology to learn about globalization in a class based on the book "The World is Flat" by Thomas L. Friedman. Every student has a netbook computer and students receive and turn in their assignments using Google Docs. Educators said they felt it was hypocritical to teach students how technology has changed the world without adding technology to lessons.
