School nurses struggle to meet students' complex medical needs

School in Clark County, Nev., and elsewhere are seeing more students with complicated medical needs attending school, despite the fact that many schools do not have nurses on staff every day. Some nurses shuttle from school-to-school to meet students' needs, while paraprofessionals and other aides fill in where appropriate. One district health official said the difficulty of the job has increased in the past 20 years.
