Mass., N.J. dole out EHR incentives to qualified providers

The state of Massachusetts has awarded about $3.3 million to seven hospitals and doctors that have adopted EHRs, part of $14.6 million in federal funds. The awards bring to 27 the number of in-state organizations that have received EHR incentive payments. Separately, 40 practices and 30 hospitals in New Jersey are receiving $40 million in Medicaid EHR incentives.
