Brands go social to romance their customers

Brands are starting to develop more personal and intimate ways of approaching consumers using social media, writes Leyl Master Black. Brands such as Whole Foods Market and Jet Blue are looking to be continuously responsive to customer needs -- and sometimes even going so far as to anticipate what customers will want, Black adds. "Eventually, we'll even start to expect it. After all, everyone wants to be loved," she writes.
