Higher death risk seen in TAVR patients with A-fib

The risk of cardiovascular and all-cause mortality at one year was more than doubled in transcatheter aortic valve replacement patients who had atrial fibrillation than those without the condition, a study found. The results were published in the journal Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions.
