Salvaged material lowers roof repair cost at N.J. arena

The metal deck that can be salvaged from the roof of the John T. Wright Arena in Englewood, N.J., damaged during Superstorm Sandy has lowered the cost of repairing the structure from $720,000 to $570,000. The roof repairs are part of a $900,000 plan for a major overhaul of the 35-year-old ice skating rink.
