How emotions lead to teachable moments in passion-based learning

Principal Matt Renwick recently learned emotions -- including frustration -- are part of passion-based learning after experiencing technical and other glitches during an after-school computer club. In this blog post, Renwick explains how he and his co-teacher worked to harness students' frustrations and guide them to solve their problems themselves, he writes. "But if we are experiencing emotions in our endeavors, that should say something about the learning climate we are participating in," he writes.
