Ill. art teacher uses dream house project to inspire students

Illinois art teacher Christina Daskalopoulos devised a ceramics unit to help excite students about architecture after she was inspired by the works of Efthymios Warlamis, an architect from Greece who lives in Austria. Students created "dream houses" from clay and were asked to write about the homes. Daskalopoulos then took the lesson a step further by having students connect with Warlamis via Skype.
