Taco Bell plans to roll out smartphone ordering services this year to appeal to its millennial customer base. A GPS locator will also alert Taco Bell employees when customers are nearby in order to ensure the order is ready and hot. "More than 60% of Taco Bell orders are customized, and with 80% of people 18-34 owning a smartphone, the mobile app puts our brand in the customers' hands," said Jeff Jenkins, the fast food chain's senior manager of mobile experience.
