Countries criticize WTO agriculture trade proposal

Japan and Australia are among the countries that found the World Trade Organization's proposal disappointing. The 26-page document calls for eliminating all export subsidies over nine years. A Republican congressional leader said Congress could vote to leave the WTO unless barriers to agriculture trade are reduced.
