Multibillion dollar pipeline will ease natural-gas demand

A $3-billion, 1,323-mile gas pipeline from Wyoming to Ohio is scheduled to start construction in spring 2007 amid anticipation of increased natural-gas consumption. "Most of these projects move gas west. There's a need for gas in the East so this would certainly be something that looks like it could be needed," says Tamara Young-Allen, a technical affairs specialist for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
