Study disputes benefits of omega-3 fatty acids for depression

Contrary to speculation, omega-3 fatty acids alone do not appear to relieve depression, according to a new study. Researchers who analyzed the results of published studies on the subject also found limited evidence that omega-3 fatty acids were beneficial when taken in combination with antidepressant drugs.
